RWMP_WATERTEMPERATURE_DATA_2004.csv

This is a raw water temperature dataset encompassing timeframe of 2001-2020. The data set does not have any summary statistics and the user is responsible for their own QA/QC. Water temperature data was recorded once every 15 to 30 minutes through the use of loggers. Generally, the data were logged continuously throughout three seasons (spring, summer, fall) although in some cases loggers were left to record water temperature year round. Where possible, stream temperatures were obtained at the same Regional Watershed Monitoring Program (RWMP) sites where fish and benthic community sampling also occurred. Water temperature data is recorded as degrees Celsius. The majority of the data follows a 3 year rotation hence some sites will have a gap of two years between them. There are 150 RWMP sites in total spread across TRCA's 9 watersheds.
